"As a global leading business owner in the ADHD industry, graduating with my masters in students with disabilities, being a special education teacher and administrator for over 20 years, and reviewing thousands of evaluations and IEPs, it never ceases to amaze me how challenging some schools can be in giving your child exactly what they need with ADHD. Although I know the law, and I’m seasoned in this, I sought out Amanda to help me and my family to get the appropriate attention for my stepson.

My stepson with ADHD and co-existing conditions finally received exactly what he deserved. "My story is complicated and with many twists and turns. My IEP team let me down time and time again. I felt defeated, like I was crazy for wanting my son to be re-evaluated because my “mom gut” knew something was wrong. I reached out to Amanda because I was tired- emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
If you have a child with a disability, I know in my heart that you have felt this at some point. Amanda listened with care, compassion, and an open mind. It was at that moment that I said, “Amanda you are now a part of our family, and I will never go to another IEP meeting without you. I will be allowed just to be the mom and feel all those feelings that you feel when you’re discussing the progress and challenges of your child. You can be the voice of reason and make sure all things are documented as they should be”.
